1. Protection policy for personal information
- We will make an effort to handle appropriately and protect personal information by respecting, and being in compliance with, the applicable laws and regulations in connection with protection of personal information and social order.

- We use the personal information in our possession in connection with the businesses in (1) for the purposes in (2).

- (i) Lease, sale in lots, development, management, sale and purchase, and brokerage of real estate (office buildings, condominiums, stores, rental apartments, residential houses and residential land, etc.);
- (ii) contracting, design, and supervision of construction and engineering work;
- (iii) businesses conducted by each of the companies belonging to our corporate group (meaning consolidated subsidiaries described in our annual securities report; the same shall apply hereinafter), such as brokerage services and consignment sales of real estate, delegated management of condominiums, etc., interior design related services, hotel business, leasing and operations for event halls and meeting rooms, etc., operations and management of commercial facilities, fitness club operations, operations for restaurants and convenience stores, operations for golf courses, and nonlife insurance agency business and life insurance agency business; and
- (iv) real estate specified joint ventures, real estate appraisal, and other businesses incidental or connected to each of the businesses above and each of the businesses within the scope of business purposes of our company and each company belonging to our corporate group.
- (2) Purpose

- (i) Sales activities via mail, telephone, e-mail, or visits, etc. for the provision of information, products, and services;
- (ii) promotion and intermediation, etc. of various affairs necessary for the provision of information, products, and services (such as communication for business discussions and meetings, various investigation for proposing plans, credit research and review, identity verification, application and submission of notifications, obtainment of permission, confirmation of stakeholders, financing, and registration of land and buildings);
- (iii) execution and performance of agreements in connection with the provision of information, products, and services;
- (iv) in the brokerage business, registration of properties with, and notification of contracts to the Real Estate Information Network System and sales using information registered with such system, price assessments, or the like (see note);
- (v) security services, crime prevention, and safety management of facilities and buildings managed or operated by our company and each of the companies belonging to our corporate group;
- (vi) management and operations of a customer membership association;
- (vii) implementation of after-sales service and repair and inspection, etc. of the parts sustaining the malfunction;
- (viii) implementation of questionnaires with respect to information, products, and services and response to inquiries and marketing activities such as customer trend analysis and research and analysis for improvement and development of products and services; and
- (iv) other matters incidental or connected to each of the businesses in (1).
We will stop providing the information, products, and services mentioned above upon request of the person to whom the personal information belongs.
(Regarding retrieval of cookies)When you view our website or e-mails from us, we may, either by ourselves or through a contractor, retrieve cookies from the terminal you use, such as your computer, and use that data to improve the usability of our website, conduct statistical analysis related to the status of use of our website, publish advertisements, and the like. (Note) Matters regarding Real Estate Information Network System
Real Estate Information Network System is a public interest corporation designated by the Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism pursuant to the Real Estate Brokerage Act and conducts the following businesses stipulated in the Real Estate Brokerage Act:
- (i) operations relating to the registration of Building Lots or buildings subject to Exclusive Mediation Agreements and other agreements pertaining to the Real Estate Brokerage;
- (ii) provision of information concerning Building Lots or buildings pertaining to registration as provided for in the preceding item to Real Estate Brokers on a regular basis or in response to requests; and
- (iii) in addition to operations as listed in the preceding two items, preparation of statistics relating to information as provided for in the preceding item and other operations required to facilitate the proper securing of transactions and logistics involving Real Estate.
- We will take the following measures in accordance with the provisions of the Real Estate Brokerage Act concerning the Real Estate Information Network System.
- 1. If we receive a request to sell a property and enter into a brokerage agreement, we will register the property information with the Real Estate Information Network System in order to find a buyer. The registered property information and information such as the name and address of the seller will be provided to the member companies of the Real Estate Information Network System and prospective buyers.
- 2. If a registered property is sold, we will notify the date, sale price, and the like to the Real Estate Information Network System.
- 3. The Real Estate Information Network System will use property information and contract information (information such as the property summary, date of contract, and sale price but excluding the names of the seller and buyer) for its business as stipulated in the Real Estate Brokerage Act. This includes providing property information and contract information to member companies of the Real Estate Information Network System and public organizations in forms such as electronic data.
- 4. In case of an Exclusive Mediation Agreement and Privileged and Exclusive Mediation Agreement, we will conduct the registration and notification of information to the Real Estate Information Network System, etc. in accordance with the provisions of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
- 5. Prospective buyers or buyers of a property must purchase the property in accordance with the measures for the Real Estate Information Network System described in 1 through 4 above.
- 6. When we conduct sales activities for a property based on property information, etc. from the Real Estate Information Network System, we will provide such property information, etc. to the prospective buyer and provide information such as the name and address of that prospective buyer to the real estate broker and to the prospective seller. We will stop such provision of information upon request of the person to whom the information belongs.
- 7. We will provide our clients, etc. with information on concluded contracts that we have received from the Real Estate Information Network System (which do not include the names of the seller or buyer) or information on concluded contracts from sales transactions that we have been involved in as the basis for our opinions on the price at which a property should be sold or its valuation when we receive a request for a sale or purchase. In such case, we will take measures to prevent identification of the property in question. We will stop such provision of information upon request of the person to whom the information belongs.
